Traineeship

The traineeship is an activity that forms part of the student’s curriculum during the Master’s degree programme and can be carried out within companies, research institutions, firms and external professional practices, as well as in research laboratories and departments within the “G. d’Annunzio” University.

A list of external organisations with which the degree programme has established internship agreements for the 2023–2025 period is available here (updated as of November 2025).

A further list of external organisations available for the activation of training internships is provided in the table below, together with the relevant information.

If a student wishes to carry out the traineeship at an external organisation for which no agreement is currently in place, it is always possible to establish one using the form provided here.

Each traineeship has a duration of 150 hours, and upon completion, 6 CFU (ECTS credits) will be awarded.

Procedure to follow:

Beginning

1. Independently contact the host organisation (external or within the University) to assess the available topics.

1. If the traineeship is carried out externally, check whether an agreement with the host organisation already exists. Otherwise, request the activation of a new agreement by completing the form available here.
2. Complete the training project form, available here, in collaboration with the host organisation’s contact person (company tutor) for external traineeships, or with the supervising professor (academic tutor) for traineeships carried out within the University. If the traineeship is external, an academic tutor (a professor) must still be identified. The training project must be signed by the student, the company tutor, and the academic tutor (for external traineeships), or by the student and the academic tutor (for internal traineeships). Conclusion

1. At the end of the traineeship, the student must write a report on the activities carried out. This must be signed by the student, the company tutor, and the academic tutor (for external traineeships), or by the student and the academic tutor (for internal traineeships).
2. Have the traineeships certificate completed by the company tutor (for external internships), or by the academic tutor (for internal internships), using the form available here. In addition to the above documentation, both the student and the host organisation must complete the end-of-internship evaluation questionnaires: questionnaire for the student; questionnaire for the host organisation.
